A gifted story teller from an early age, St Clare has an easy engaging style that belies the complexity  of his work.

Born in Bangalore India, the son of a third generation British Raj father and an Indian mother, St Clare was raised and educated in rural England.

In spite of his early fascination with the written word, his skill with technology led him to a successful career in systems architecture. He continued to develop his writing throughout his IT career, applying his deep knowledge of both technical structure and the intrinsic human factor to his work. He now spends his life travelling and writing full time.

A PERSONAL NOTE:  I have loved Sci Fi my entire life and I am thrilled to be in a position to pursue my life long love of writing. I currently live in a beautiful rural setting, (which is quite conducive to writing), with my wife, my mother in law and three tabby cats.

I often have to contend with a cat on my keyboard, or just demanding my attention, (I suspect my real purpose in life is to act as a couch for various felines), so there are days when I don't get enough done because Mauser, Skid and Pod simply won't allow it.

In the realm of possibly too much information, I get many of my best ideas in the shower. Due to my being a bit of a clean freak I have a massive backlog of ideas and stories that I am working on, so I am hoping to keep up a steady stream of new releases. That said, I am not the fastest writer in the world, but I aim for quality; so I  am hoping you will enjoy my books enough to be patient with me, and that you will choose to stay with me for the long haul.

If you have any books to recommend, or want to get in touch for any reason just drop me a line on the contacts page and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Please take a moment to follow me on facebook and twitter to stay up to date with my latest releases, or better still sign up for my newsletter and grab a free copy of APEMAN (the first book in "THE ARKSHIP ARCHIVES series) JUST FOLLOW THIS LINK.

Gerald St Clare
